After much speculation about Spider-Man 4’s few remaining casting vacancies, we may soon be getting concrete answers. Veteran actor John Malkovich is reportedly very close to signing up for the role of Spidey’s archenemy, the Vulture, in the blockbuster franchise’s fourth installment. And then there’s Anne Hathaway, who has recently been the chief subject of the movie’s rumor mill. Although nothing is official yet, the studio seems to want her more than any other actress -- including the recently “attached” (though ultimately unattached) Rachel McAdams and Julia Stiles -- for the role of Felicia Hardy. In the comic books, Hardy evolves into the evil Black Cat, but for director Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man 4, the character would become the Vulturess, apparently teaming up with the Vulture. Stay Tuned!
