Leonardo DiCaprio had been injured on the set of his new movie. The incident happened on Friday (21.04.06) while the Titanic star was in Africa filming 'The Blood Diamond'. In a statement, his spokesman said: 'He sustained a minor leg injury on set. 'He received medical attention, and was back at work on Saturday.' Robyn Baard, a spokeswoman for the Nelspruit Medi-Clinic where the star was treated, said: 'He walked into the hospital grounds surrounded by bodyguards.' 'The Blood Diamond' - which also stars Dark Water star and wife of Paul Bettany, Jennifer Connelly - is about two men who find a rare jewel that can change their lives. It is due to be released later this year. Meanwhile, the star's new girlfriend Bar Refaeli been labelled a 'draft dodger' after avoiding compulsory military service in her native Israel. The 20-year-old model allegedly avoided having to enlist in the armed forces by marrying just a week before having to report for duty in 2004. All Israeli women aged between 18 and 20 are obliged to serve unless they are orthodox Jews, disabled or married. (C)
