Dennis Quaid has battled anorexia. The Hollywood actor - who lost 40 pounds to play Doc Holliday in 'Wyatt Earp' - confessed he starved himself until he was as weak as a kitten. He told America's New York Post newspaper: 'My arms were so skinny that I couldn't pull myself out of a pool. 'I'd look in the mirror and still see a 180-pound-guy, even though I was 138 pounds.' 'The Flight of the Phoenix' star - who has labelled his condition 'manorexia' - insists he is now fit and healthy. He added: 'For many years, I was obsessed about what I was eating, how many calories it had, and how much exercise I'd have to do. But I'm well now.' Quaid is not the only Hollywood star to admit to an eating disorder. Jane Fonda recently revealed she was bulimic for most of her career. The Oscar-winning actress, famous for her aerobics videos, said: 'I suffered from the condition for 35 years. I mistook the physical hunger for spiritual hunger.'
